Abstract:

There is a close relationship between the traumatic brain injury and the functional changes of coagulation system. However, there is still a lack of in-depth study on the mechanism of the interaction between the two. The high coagulation state and low coagulation state after traumatic brain injury can lead to the formation of micro thrombosis or aggravate intracranial hemorrhage, which can lead to a series of secondary injury. Therefore, researchers have proposed several hypotheses, such as tissue factor release, disseminated intravascular coagulation, fibrinolysis and platelet dysfunction etc. This article reviews the pathogenesis, clinical diagnosis, treatment and prognosis of the abnormal coagulation function after traumatic brain injury.

Key words: Traumatic brain injury, Arauma-induced coagulopathy, Tissue factor
