Abstract:

The lethality of traumatic brain injury (TBI) is very high, and surgical treatment plays a critical role in the emergency treatment of brain injury. More than 80% of the patients with brain injury suffered from brain contusion and laceration, and most of the damage caused by contrecoup. When the occipital area is injured, it often causes the corresponding side or both sides of the forehead and temporal brain contusion and laceration combined with hematoma, which is very serious. For cerebral contusion and laceration complicated with subdural hematoma patients, we should attach great importance to observe the change of the condition, the dynamic review of the skull CT, timely surgery, and protect the blood vessels in the lateral fissure area during the operation.

Key words: Contusion and laceration of brain, Subarachnoid hemorrhage, Traumatic subdural hematoma
