Abstract:

Objective

To investigate the clinical characteristics and treatment of rupture and hemorrhage of cerebrovascular diseases caused by trauma.

Methods

The clinical data of 21 patients with cerebrovascular disease(aneurysm, dural arteriovenous fistula, arteriovenous malformations, cavernous hemangioma) were retrospectively analyzed during the period from June 2012 to May 2016, to understand the relationship between hemorrhage and trauma of cerebral vascular disease, and compared with the spontaneous cerebral hemorrhage hemorrhage, summarizes the characteristics of cerebral vascular disease caused by trauma, and guide the clinical diagnosis and treatment.

Results

Twenty-one patients had a history of head injury, light injury but severe clinical symptoms, imaging data showed a wide range of intracranial hemorrhage, subarachnoid hemorrhage, and associated with cerebrovascular disease. After the diagnosis, the patients were treated with intravascular embolism or craniotomy, no re-bleeding occurred, and all the patients were cured.

Conclusion

In trauma, especially in craniocerebral injury patients admitted to hospital, should be take into account and examinate cerebrovascular timely, be combined with the history and analysis of the mechanism of injury, the characteristics of image data, to clear cause, reduce misdiagnosis, and achieve the best curative effect.

Key words: Trauma, Cerebrovascular disease, Subarachnoid hemorrhage, Intracerebral hematoma
