Treatment of high altitude traumatic brain injury: a review

Abstract:

The western plateau area of China was characterized by alpine hypoxia, bad weather, poor traffic and other many difficulties. With the development of transportation and economy, more and more people go to high altitude for exploitation and touring. High altitude traumatic brain injury becomes more common. Limited study has been reported about the high altitude traumatic brain injury. The aim of this review is to summarize recent data of treatment of high altitude traumatic brain injury.
