Analysis of curative effect of interventional therapy for anterior communication aneurysm

Abstract:

Objective

To summarize the interventional treatment of intracranial anterior communicating aneurysms.

Methods

Fifteen patients with anterior communicating artery aneurysms were selected from July 2013 to August 2018 in the First Department of Neurosurgery, Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University, including 12 ruptured aneurysms and 3 unruptured aneurysms. According to Hunt-Hess classification, there were 3 cases of grade 0, 8 cases of grade Ⅱ, 3 cases of grade Ⅲ and 1 case of grade Ⅳ. Six patients were treated with 3D spring coil net weaving technology, and 9 patients were treated with endovascular stent assisted technology.

Results

There were 15 cases of dense embolization in aneurysmal cavity, 10 cases (66.7%) with more than 90% embolism degree, 5 cases (33.3%) with 70%~90% embolism degree, and no death case.

Conclusion

Both 3D spring coil net weaving technology and endovascular stent assisted technology can achieve the goal of curing anterior communicating artery aneurysm.
